Can I Put Star's Nestbox Here?

Can I put star's nest box in a milk crate? I put one in her cage, and it has really helped calm her down. If I put the nest box inside the crate(which is on its side,) would that maybe help keep her from jumping in and out of the box?

you could try.
most of my does are in and out of the nest box all the time.
I give the nest bos early so they have time to get use to it being in the pen.

Yeah, I gave Star her last nest box 2 weeks early. She squished all 7 babies.

Maybe try one of those nesting tunnel boxes? The longer ones so the doe can jump in but has to hop to get to the kits?
