Cadbury died! :(

:cry_baby: :cry_baby: I went home for lunch and he was dead. Just laying there cold and stiff in his nest box.

I don't know what happened! He was fine when I got up around 4 to go to work. Attacked his pellets and hay like normal. He was drinking and pooping normal poops.

So upset, hate having to go back to work...

It's always hard to lose an animal you've grown to love but that's a fact of life. Animals just have shorter lives than people. You have my sympathies.

So sorry... It's always such a shock to come home and find one of your rabbits dead without warning. A surprising number of rabbit deaths are of the sudden kind. I've lost only two adult rabbits over the years, but both were sudden. Harder on the owner... easier on the rabbit.
