Butt First or Head First?

Are rabbits typically born head first, like people, or is it natural for them to be born in what would be breech position for people?

I ask because a doe I bred had a stuck kit on Sunday, which I helped her remove, which was born hind feet first, and then yesterday had another stuck kit, which I also helped remove, which was also born hind feet first. Both kits were either dead due to being stuck, or dead because of trauma from me helping pull them out.

I've seen them born both ways. More are butt first though I find.
