I"m just wondering:
Do vets wrap up bunny broken bones in plaster?

I had a doe (with a young litter) suffer a fracture of a hind leg. I tried splinting it, but she kept removing it, so I left it to heal on its own.

The leg was crooked, but she got around just fine and had another litter for me.

If you have a rabbit with a broken bone, you do need to watch for signs of pain and discomfort, such as teeth grinding. My doe never showed any signs, otherwise I most likely would have culled her to end her suffering.

depends entirely on the break.

Foot breaks are normally left to heal with the rabbit confined for about three-four weeks to assist with the healing.

Above the knee breaks... depends on who is doing it.
I've heard of rabbit legs being splinted and a filled sock put around the neck to prevent chewing.
some amputate
