We have a ground rabbit cage we put our doe and babies in (1 month old) to eat grass and get some exercise. We were cleaning it up today from winter and had a massive amount of black ants and larvae in the particle wood hutch part. Not think we sprayed it with spectracide bug killer. Realizing what we did we then hosed it down with water. We also sprayed hutch friendly cleaner in it and have it open to the air and sun. Will it be safe for the rabbits if we air it out or will the fumes kill the rabbits?

I’d clean it with dawn and then vinegar to make sure I got all the bug killer residue off before I stuck a bunny in it.
