Bruised kit

Hi there! We had a litter of 7 here on the 27th. I have been weighing daily and have 1 that was not gaining so I held the dam still so it could feed ( it has gained 4 g in the last 2 days yay!) but this morning I noticed it's tummy is very bruised. It's a strong lilbit and otherwise seems ok and not in pain. Anyone else experience this? If this lilbit lives, I am keeping it!

We've had a couple kits who got bruises on their belly, and I think what happened is the doe stepped on them or otherwise injured them. We cull when we see this, because in all likelihood they had internal injuries and we didn't want them to suffer.
