Breeding scream

I have 2 NZ does I alternate breeding them one at a time alternating when kits get closer to weaning time

So I was out doing bunny maintenance this morning and tossed the unbred doe in with the male he did the deed fell over did the grunt and then a long loud scream :?:

never had that happen before I checked both bunnys and there's no marks or anything

what happened do they do that sometimes or what?

I have had this happen...either the doe or the buck...if you don't see any injuries, then it is likely you just got a "screamer"...I have a buck right now that I put into the "playpen" in the yard. Some bucks do it occasionally. Some bucks do it Every time. Some bucks Never do it.

Hmmmm. I would check his private parts to make sure. Make sure there is no redness going on or discharge ... Press down to make sure his penis looks normal.

hmmm at the very end of his penis looks like 1 drop of blood or something the rest is normal looking

Were you watching the whole time? Is it possible that the doe tried to bite him afterwards?

I was watching the whole time the doe never tried to bite him

about an hour later I brought them back together for a rebreed
I want to be sure of bunnys not mabey bunnys

screamed again smaller less piglet like scream but still a scream
