Ok so if I have a blue New Zealand doe breed from two Blues do you have to breed this bun to another blue or can you use a black or broken black New Zealand and get a mix of some blacks and some blues out of her?

In Rex I breed my blues to blacks, and get mixed litters of blue and black.

That's what I had thought but wasn't sure the guy that has them had said he gets a double coat that is blue underneath and when the hair is laid down its black when he breeds to a black with them.

You will only get blue kits in the first generation if the black carries the blue dilution gene.

Breeding her black son back to her will give you blue and black kits in the litter.
