South has a little blood coming from her nose. Today has not been a good day in the rabbitry! Here is what I THINK is happening.

The kits are pulverizing the pellets. So the bottom of the feeder is filled with a fine dust. I clear it out, but by the time the bowl is empty it's there.

South started sneezing. Not bad, just little dry sneezes. I assumed they were from the feed. To top it all off, it got REALLY hot today - way hotter than I was expecting. They had water bottles, but the temp shift was pretty bad (barely hit 80 yesterday, a week of 70s before that, and got over 90 today).

What do I do? Should I attempt to rinse her nose, or just keep the bowl extremely clean?

I think just keep her bowl clean and give her a frozen bottle to keep cool- incase maybe since its hot her blood vessels are swollen and more prone to bursting when she sneezes. I get bloody noses myself from really hot weather.

Baaaaaaaaaah crap

She's got minor yellow staining around her nose. Not blowing snot, and her nose is clear/dry. I'm pretty certain it's just staining from the feed, but I canNOT lose this rock star mama! She was absolutely AMAZING and has become the nicest little thing (albeit a total food hog) since kindling.

ACV in the water. High quality feed. Giving her plantain and dandelion, and a little bit of lambs quarter. What else? I'm starting her on a calcium drench...maybe some extra minerals? I don't *think* the kits are stressing her.
