Hubs says there are 5....I thought it would be more since she was so big, but maybe the kits are big... :mbounce: :mbounce: :mbounce:

She had them in the nest box and covered them with fur. So, I told him to take the smallest two from Mocha and mark their ears and put them in with Big Mama's litter to give them each 7. That should work, right?

Yes, it should work fine. Some people suggest fostering the larger, stronger kits because they may handle the change better, but I really don't know if it is better or not. Hope to hear they all have fat bellies when you next check on them. :)

When I checked this morning, Mocha's were all fed. Even the small ones had somewhat round tummies, so I think they will be ok...

I know!!! I just wish I wasn't stuck at work....*sigh*

__________ Tue Dec 20, 2011 11:44 am __________

Well, now he says there are 7 and they are quite large!!!! So, we will just have to let everyone be where they are and hope for the best...

Ok, so of the 7 there is one runt....he/she is very small but active. Not sure if it will make it but we shall see. All of them were warm and fed this morning. Last night we actually got to see both Big Mama and Mocha feed their kits! Very cool...
