It seems my yard has become home to a half dozen or so clumps of Andropogon gerardii (or at least that is what I think it is as best as I can identify it -- most distinguishing feature is it's deep purple stems from base up about 4 inches). I tried it on a "test bunny" and it passed inspection. Tried it with all the rabbits and it seems to be acceptable to their picky palates.
Anyone have experience with this plant? I'm thinking of relocating the clumps to a grouping as it gives my lawn mower a bit of a workout.
