BEW

Is BEW a showable color in Jersey Woolies? If so what would be best to start with? A pair of side BEW or a BEW and I VM?

Yes it is.I would get two BEWS.

If I can find them. Eventually that is what I would like to breed. They are just Dreamy!!!!

You can start with VM. If you breed a vm to a vm, you have a 25% chance of BEWs. If you breed VM to BEW, you have a 50% chance. BEW to BEW is always BEW.

VM stock seems to be cheaper, though, because it is DQ.

I would think that it is easier to find two VMs for sale than BEWs. Breeders with BEWs may not want to sell them since they are so hard to find.

I am hoping to find VM pair eventually. They are the most amazing ever! Well at least to me.

Wishing you all the luck of finding your "dream" rabbits. Definitely unique having rabbits with blue eyes. That eye color truly stands out with a white rabbit.

It might be hard to find. I haven't seen anyone breeding them on any of the groups i am on. They are beautiful though.

I have more time than money right now so I can start looking while I save!! I saw some yesterday somewhere though. But of course I can't remember where now. Go figure.

I was at an auction last week, and someone just turned around, said here you have rabbits and handed me a Vienna Marked with blue eyes! Her fur on top was pretty but underneath was horrible, I think a little kid owned her. I think she may also be pregnant...I may breed her and get some bews going myself!
