Whats best to fee my does. :?:
All yur help is appreciated.

Could you tell us a little about your situation? Have you owned rabbits before? How long have you had these ones?

What are they currently eating? How old are the kits?

Did one have an abnormally large litter?

Like Zass asked, you need to be a little more specific.

That being said: ""Genetics"" play a large part in the milk production of a doe.
You may provide all of the available support....and it may still fall short of
your ideal. It's unfortunate, but true. In the search for other wanted features
in a rabbit, oftentimes, "milk-production" isn't taken into consideration.

Finding an outstanding "milker" is a treat, and one that needs to be
incorporated into the breeding plan for the herd.

[my rabbits love french fries]

Now THAT is a question for me to ponder: which do I love more- my rabbits or my french fries?? It might lead me to emulate Dood, and breed for smaller litters so my fries remain safe.

I have an awesome doe who looks like a load of hay BUT she always raises at least 10 for me and I've never gotten less than nine from her. Her last litter was eleven and I'm keeping back the nicest does from this litter in hopes of getting more of her milking ability into my herd.
