behavior right before kindling?

What do does do right before kindling?

Ruby has been going in and out of her nest box messing with her hay. Then she will lay down then start messing with her nest box, lay down.. you see the pattern lol

I have her some greens (mostly dandelion to help with milk) and she hasn't touched them. Usually my buns devour them.

Haven't seen any hair pulling tho.

I've seen some pull hair right before kindling.

Because today is day 31 I'm assuming she will pull hair right before she starts having them. Time will tell <br /><br /> -- Mon Feb 22, 2016 9:22 am -- <br /><br />

Ours may pull fur up to a day before kindling--or not until just before. They do tend to go off their feed the day they kindle. And although it's tempting to keep looking, I try to leave them alone or check from a distance. Guess that would be different if the rabbit is kept where there is always a lot of activity or is used to being handled a lot. I've just noticed that while our goats like to have me or my daughter nearby when kidding (although clearly unhappy with strangers at that time) the rabbits seem to want to be left alone.

Shes not friendly at all, but shes used to us walking by and the dogs barking. She's an indoor rabbit until the weather turns and I can build her a cage outside. I can hear her doing who knows what lol but no baby squeaks yet. This is like watching grass grow lol <br /><br /> -- Mon Feb 22, 2016 6:42 pm -- <br /><br /> So we just saw Ebony hay stashing too and her belly is way more active than Rubys. Wonder if that means she's got more kits in the oven than Ruby?

So excited! Still hoping one of us will be able to follow thru with dispatching when the time comes. I just know 2 things, baby bunnies are one of the cutest animals and.. I love my dogs... lol
