Coco has a bare patch of skin on her stomach, right above her B.U.T.T
I also noticed that she has very very VERY tiny little yellow dots that run around on that bare spot. Maybe that's only b/c you can see them cuz there's no fur, but I'm kind of worried because I only got her five wks ago. Heeeelp

The one problem, tho, is that they are SUPER tiny. They look like tiny grains of pollen, but I've seen them moving around. Sooo it would be kinda difficult to get a picture...and I mean they are REALLY REALLY tiny. They're yellowish white, kind of sparse, and I can't tell if they're under the skin or not.

but I've seen them moving around
:x
Do you have access to any food grade diatomaceous earth?

It's non-toxic (essentially it's made of the tiny fossilized skeletons of sea animals) and it's very effective at killing small insects like mites.

What I like about it, as it's not a poison so there is no harm in doing a just-in-case dusting.

I do it outside though, and cover the rabbit's face with my hand when I'm dusting, as the stuff goes air born easily, and could potentially be irritating to the lungs and mucous membranes.

So far as I know, no one has ever reported seeing any negative side effects in their rabbits after using it, but it doesn't hurt to be a little cautious.

The cage or space they live in and areas around it will also need to be dusted or cleaned.
