Summer is here, I'm going nuts keeping up with watering! I'm checking out those chicken watering cups (like these http://www.cutlersupply.com/cart/index. ... cts_id=489)
wondering if anyone has used them for rabbits? I'm thinking they'd be fairly easy to hook up to a plastic drum to fill up with water.
I don't like the nipple ones, I like to see there is water and that its working... plus seem more complicated... was just planning to make a simple bucket system for the cups.

Not seeing the cups in person, the ad said they cup activates when the bird's beak enters the cup.
so will it activate when the rabbit sticks it's muzzle into the cup.
is there any thing the rabbit has to move to make it activate?
other than this I would see nothing wrong with them.

I'm going to guess that those are very tiny cups. Just big enough for the chickens beak probably, so I'm not sure if that would work or not.
