Our spring show season is almost here and i'm working on the entry for our frist show coming up. I have been So Careful to not say ( or even Think ) the words *Rabbit Show* while in the barn . One of our best bucks must have heard it anyway... he is blowing coat like a husky dog !! Big handfuls of soft undercoat... Somehow i doubt he will be in any condition to show in a week... *sigh*...

Do rabbits use telepathy ??? is that how he found out ????? :bunnyhop:

ahh don't you hate it when that happens? my bucks do that all the time. try grooming him every day with a slicker brush and pet him with wet hands everyday to help him blow faster. some of my bucks can finish their molt in a week or less, especially if they are helped along

Same here. My doe was perfect , and then decided that it would be an excellent time to blow her coat 2 days before the show!

RandomRabbit! Obviously you haven't been wearing your tinfoil hat! It blocks incoming and outgoing transmissions. Tsk tsk tsk... no-one to blame but yourself.

I agree with Sterling and OAF- groom daily and up his protein. Also, wrap the entire herd's ears in tinfoil, since, as MaggieJ mentioned, they are such good receivers. That way you wont need to worry if you forget to wear yours. :roll:
