I just got her she is grey?? the lady got her at a pet store and she couldn't remember her breed. what do you all think? <br /><br /> __________ Sun Feb 22, 2015 12:09 pm __________ <br /><br /> anyone with an idea?

Her chinchilla patterning reminds me of chinchilla coloured Californians I've produced and she is also a bit finer boned looking so I think she is a California cross :)

But she really could be any sort of mixed breed rabbit as there are no purebreds of her colour in the 7 to 8 pound weight range
 
I think she's a mixed breed too.

A pet store in a city near me buys up crossbred rabbits of any lineage to sell as pets. I'm positive it's not the only pet store that isn't particular about breed.

I wouldn't worry about it though, since mixed breed rabbits make every bit as good of pets as purebred ones. :)
 
Rabbits tend to reach much the same look when not bred toward show type and especially when breeds are crossed so it's usually difficult to tell what a rabbit is. Lots of smaller to medium breed mutts can be found at pet stores listed under various names including some that just call everything a dwarf. Sometimes color can help since that is the main difference in a lot of similar looking breeds but the smaller breeds tend to have a broad range of colors so crosses to them can make many colors.
