Anyone familiar with the American breed?

I found a fairly local breeder of American blues and was considering purchasing a trio. My son saw the pictures from the breeder and said, " dad that is the rabbits for me". Lol, that boy is a goofus

Is anyone here familiar with the breed? Any quirks with the breed? Are they fairly heat tolerant? What about their temperment? How is the dressout?

I just know there are heritage and not very common anymore, no experience with them though.

Americans are one of the rare breeds. Your lucky to even have someone near you that raises them.
