It's day 28. Lovey's pulling a little bit of fur, nesting a lot, and VERY protective of the nestbox. Not to an aggressive extent, but if I go in there she glares at me, grunts, runs, and when I leave she goes in there and straightens it all out. She's begun to take the hay I give her to eat to the nestbox. I can't wait! This is her first little and I hope she does well and is an early kindler. :)

I'll be checking the nestbox at dark every night because I know they have 'em in the early morning or at night.

Wish her (and me) luck!

Yeah she's doing better. Sometimes she won't eat much and then seem like she could eat a horse at night. So she gets hungry at night

We'll see who's right soon! :)

I also could use a little help with pedigree names. Dam is Lucky in Love, sire is Soft Fall. I would like something similar to their names, but since Lovey des NOT like to be held and has given me a scar, (she does have some good days and never bites) I call her my Psycho doe. But her call name is Lovey. So I was thinking I might name one of her doe babies (hopefully she has one) something Psycho. And hope that like momma she does the personality-does-not-fit-name thing and be sweet. Lovey isn't THAT bad, but she is a LOT of rabbit to handle. You have to time it right if you want to handle her without getting scratched a ton. Anyway, for the does, I'd like a name similar to Mama Lovey's

For the bucks, I'd like a soft sounding name, similar to Soft Fall. (My 7.8 lbs baby's name fits him (SOFT Fall) since he melts into my arms when I hold him)
