We're figuring out how to set up our rabbit cages in the new space that is under construction. So far we've mostly used metal pans (that we made). The 4 foot grow out cages that we stuck in a small space by the goats this summer has a slant board for the upper cage, because we didn't have a larger pan nor time to make one. Neither of the cage cleaners likes it. They want to know if all of you who prefer slant boards to pans have running water in the rabbit area to flush it out daily and how you handle it in freezing weather. And do you hose them off in place or remove them to clean?
And just wondering how many times most of you changed your set-up before you got it how you wanted it?
