I'm pretty good with sexing. I can tell the parts apart. I commonly encounter rabbits that when I try to expose the parts they don't pop out. The genital area feels completely different from other rabbits. It has a very soft feel to it. I was checking the sex of a 6 week old today and initially couldn't get the parts to pop out. After some work I eventually seen a tiny bit pop up and it was a doe. Does the soft feel make sense to you and is that a good indicator of a doe?

I've never noticed a difference in how they feel.

What I've noticed is that if I have a hard time sexing them, 9 times out of 10 they'll be a buck.... just a slower maturing one.
