Anyone know if Ivermectin is on the 'gonna need a prescription' list? If it is on the list, then I'll buy a case of it now and hope it has a long shelf life. Nothing else that I know of really works as well on wool and ear mites.

Not on the list, although dewormers are RX in the EU also due to worms becoming more resistant and there not being a new dewormer in the pipeline. If the current ones stop working a lot of owners will be up the creek without a paddle if their animals wormload gets to high. Sidenote : wormers for humans are in the same families as the currently in use wormers for animals. Antibiotics are the same story, we are running out of well working ones due to a combo of overuse in livestock and non existant sewers in the Indian factories making them, so the bacterial resistance is in the westernworld almost before the new drugs are. Industrial livestock production has some serious problems in this area and the US is lagging way behind on responsible use to protect its citizens from this kind of stupidity/greed.
