I mentioned on a recent post that I'm having to sell all my angoras due to my health issues preventing me from keeping them. Well, I have three left that haven't sold yet and it's become somewhat of an emergency situation. Because of health reasons, I'm physically incapable of fulfilling their care requirements (grooming, cage cleaning, etc.) and I'm doing the best I can for now but I really need them re-homed asap for both my own sake and for the rabbits' sake. I've been on RabbitTalk for two years now and I know that most of the members on here are good people who take good care of their rabbits. So if any RT'er is able and willing to give them a good home, I will gladly let them go for free. I live in northeast Kansas and can drive to Topeka, Manhattan, or Kansas City to drop off the rabbits. If absolutely necessary, I might be able to make it to Wichita, Salina, or Columbia.

Here are the ones that still need homes:
(Sorry none of these are posed correctly. If you need posed photos, I could try to get some for you.)

Hershey
Black Tort, Doe, 5 years old. Fully pedigreed.
Sweet, easy-going, good temperament. Coat currently trimmed down for summer.

Ginger
Lilac Tort, Doe, 3.5 years old. Fully pedigreed.
Extremely easy-care coat, hardly ever matts and is easy to brush out. Has been bred a few times before and was a very good mother, but hasn't been bred in over a year.

Did you ever get in touch with PSFAngoras?

You're up around Norton aren't you?

Not yet. I didn't want to inconvenience anyone with unwanted rabbits. (I've had people do that to me before and it can be a massive headache.) I was hoping to try to find someone who already needed/wanted some angoras first. I saved her contact info, though, just in case. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I really appreciate everyone's help and support.

Actually, Norton is about 4 hours away. I'm closer to the Topeka area.

I could take the girls, I don't have room for another buck but I think the girls would be alright in the colony with my other does, and that way they aren't a burden for you or someone else and hopefully I can find homes for them.

Six Gun, your girl Freyja is queen of the roost in the colony, she's looking great, putting on weight, and I think it's almost time for another shearing for the both of them. They get fluffy fast.

:)

They do get fluffy fast, and I always loved Freyja's size. She's a good bodied girl! Thank you for taking such great care of them. I'm glad she had the weight to get through the transport. :)
