I've been asked to relay an important PSA (public service announcement) from my Mother:

She says, "I have this injured finger. Not sure why, but it has been hurting for weeks now. :wheelcha: I've determined that what is needed is my very own AmChin. :bunnyhop: Yes, having an AmChin to love would cure this painful finger of mine. If you wish to donate to the cause (because my daughter is too cheap to buy one), I would greatly appreciate it."

For the record, I'm not "too cheap", I'm trying to keep her from ending up on that Animal Planet show about animal hoarders.... :pancake:

If your ever in Ontario Canada you can have one of mine.

But I find my AmChins are rather dull witted and kind of boring and don't recommend them as a pet. However my chinchilla coloured 1/2 AmChin 1/4 NZ and 1/4 Flemmish giants have quite the character ( as do their siblings) and I recommend them for pets instead of my purebreds and recommend your mum look for a mutt that is chin coloured if she's looking for a companion to fix her finger :D

I'll let her know! :)

I beg to differ-- My AmChins have ALL been personable, laid back, and quite full of character..... Now if Mom is willing to wait, I am expecting a breeding pair in about a month-- after the ARBA national Show...

Wait? You haven't met my mother, have you?

Keep me posted on the kits...she is very determined...

I think Frosted Rabbits is closer to you then I am, but I have two litters of 3/4 American Chinchilla, 1/4 Palomino babies in the nestbox, and some 1/4 AmChin x 1/4 Palomino x 1/2 American Sable babies and their parents are the two sweetest rabbits I own. I can guarantee a cuddle bunny out of that litter!

Do you have any pure amchins? I've been wanting some standards or americans since I started keeping rabbits but everyone is halfway across the country. We get to southern chicago suburbs, about 3 hrs away, a few times a year.
