5 week old Cali mounting doe?

Came home to sex the 5 week old Cali’s tonight and I hear one screaming and she is being mounted by one of the young bucks! I nudged him off and continued on. I noticed he started mounting others. When I would check them they were all does. I ended up with 4 and 4. Please tell me at 5 weeks they are to young to conceive? I noticed once I got them separated he quit. He got a special mark with the sharpee along with the doe he had screaming.

Unlikely they can breed and unlikely the doe would allow breeding if she was screaming about it. They do sometimes start practicing young. Early mounting may be a social thing rather than for mating purposes. Sometimes does will do the mounting and sometimes bucks will mount bucks while they are growing up together.
