I think it's safe to say they aren't both blue/white anymore...

Blue/white magpie on the right and blue/fawn on the left?
They are doing great, I understand now why they are called popples.

Edit: Color is much darker in person, my phone camera didn't do a fantastic job at that...

They look like black harlequin (A_ B_ C_ D_ ej_ ) and black magpie (A_ B_ cchd_ D_ ej_ ) to me, especially if they are darker in person

Very cute :rabbit-hop2: :rabbit-hop1:

Is that possible out of a blue/white and an orange? I didn't think they were quite dark enough to be black, but time will tell. Mostly was just saying the orange color was more saturated in person, not particularly darker...

I've got both of their pedigrees somewhere around here.... :/

I don't think orange is a dilute color?

I thought it was a dilute of red but I could be wrong. So since she is orange she is the one who got the black color into the mix?

Well, I had to look it up but according to this site http://www.amysrabbitranch.com/Info-ColorGuide.html Cream is the dilute red and orange is a lighter variation of red. It would vary some of course and I assume if you had a really bright red who was also dilute it could possibly look orange.

I haven't looked into colors in a while, thanks!

The kit still has a pale belly, no pigment yet. Looking at the ears though, I will agree that it's looking very dark.

Picking up a cream doe and a black harlequin doe (not very well marked but eh) tomorrow. Very excited :)

having bred TONS of rabbits in those colours.. you have a black japanese and a black magpie. Blue looks different. Mind that lighting can really change how colours look, but given what I see.. it looks like the bunnies I've bred lots of in the past. :)

Isn't Fawn the dilute of Orange? Or am I completely off?

I think with the wideband group, it is dependent on rufus factors present. The more there are the redder they are?

So red, orange, and fawn are all just variations of red. Cream is the dilute. ...What is frosty then?
