My kits are 3 weeks old today.
At day 12 I did have to soak a couple of eyes and treated them with a dab of polysporin, and all opened and cleared up from the mild redness I was seeing.
They left the next box 3 days ago. Prior to that I cleaned the whole hutch with vinegar and water (and rinsed it) and threw out all the old bedding etc.
They are on wire now, with mom, there are pellets and hay in the hutch.
Today (day 21), about half of the eyes are inflamed and red rimmed.

The upper picture is greasy because I put a tiny bit of polysporin on the eye earlier today.
The lower pic is a kit in the same litter with healthy looking eyes.

What should I do?

Thanks! :D

Looks like nest box eye. I recently had a couple of kits have the problem. It can be resolved- it just takes daily cleaning and treatment. Terramycin cream is best (I think that's spelled right). To be honest, I did not use the cream- I just cleaned their eyes once or twice a day with a damp cloth and a Q-tip. They slowly cleared up over a two week period with no lasting problems. If it happens again, I will use the cream though.

Thank you!
I thought that was the issue but could only find reference to it at eye opening time.
I'll clean everything against the morning and give them all a warm eye bath and see how we do.
Is it contagious to the other rabbits?
We practice good hand washing between cages for the sake of the kits (and allergies lol).

Terramycin-- is it an over the counter antibiotic? Off to google ;)

Yes! Looks like I can try the feed store, if not I know a guy lol
I'm going to try a boric acid eye wash tomorrow and see how they look Monday.
