12 wk old Holland Lop with runny nose - Help

We have a friend who has one of our kits. It's a 12 week old Holland Lop and has had a runny nose for about the last week. What should they do???

Well, the answers will help determine the cause, and the cause will help determine the course of action. Any way you could get more information or even some pics?

I found out it's "Crusty" under it's nose. That's all they told me.

Any suggestions?

Really hard to guide you without more info, starting with the answers to English Spot's questions. I would add three more:

Is the discharge clear or colored?

Are the bun's front feet crusty too?

Is it eating, peeing and looking OK?

If its the only rabbit .... Ivermectin.

If there are other rabbits present - Cull.

Don't allow this person to handle your rabbits ... what it has may be transferred from skin or clothing.
