There are a gozillion YouTube vids of people who zip-tied together those 14" panels from the wire storage cubes to build multi-level rabbit condos. For a while, I couldn't find the grids anywhere, then they wanted $35-$40 for 16 of them. (for instance: http://www.amazon.com/Whitmor-6070-1723 ... =pd_sim__2 ) But TODAY I finally found some at a reasonable price.

Since you don't use the corner connectors to build the cages, you can just get the plain grids for $1.10 each. They also have crazy cheap zip ties at this site.
Since it took me so long to find these panels, I started using wire shelving from Lowe's to make ramps and walkways around my colony pen. I turn the lip up on the outside edge of the shelf to keep the rabbit from slipping off. With a combination, this could become literally a-mazing!
