With the Havana kits today we have 14 kits+5 does+3 bucks=22 Havana's and 1 Mini Lop.

Next Sunday we should have 5 kits +5 +3= 13 Havana's and 1 Mini Lop.

Although I did see some cute Dutch kits at the Tractor Supply Pet Swap today. But I have decided against Dutch for my plans. So...I resisted temptation.

LOL. I could have easily been that high. My total from last May was 47, now at 53. But that is only because I culled all but 4 four of the 95 kits born here last year, and culled half of my herd to accept new breeders this fall. Then no kits from August till two days ago. But I picked up three new breeds. I wish I had listed the breeds the last time, before all the numbers came from Rex, Mini Rex and Holland Lops. .

Rex 27 (19 seniors 8 kits)
Mini Rex 5 srs
Angora 3 seniors
Holland lop 2 seniors 5 kits
Jersey Wooly 7 srs
Silver Fox 1 sr two 6-9
 
I have... 2 bucks(one's leaving), 3 does(one's leaving), and 11 kits(2 are staying). All lionheads.

The most I've had at one time was I think 24, and I was all "whoa, this is too much!"

We-e-ell, yes... that and getting help butchering is like pulling teeth around here, so it is mostly me, myself, and I that processes them. (Good thing there are three of me, eh?)

I'm really picky about how they get done, too. I hate when the pelts get messed up, I like to rinse all of the fur off of the meat (not easy to do), and when they are quartered I want nice clean cuts... so doing it myself is better for my *ahem* "retentive side" anyway. :roll:

I have 3 adults, and 15 kits....They do seem to multiply...
 
I have 4 NZW does just bred
1 Satin doe just bred
2 Creme's just bred
1 mutt doe just bred
1 Jersey wooly doe who won't breed
junior Satin doe to keep
1 creme junior to keep
2 junior NZW to keep
4 breeding bucks
4 pet bucks
10 kits just weaned
and 11 ready for freezer camp.
Trying to decide if I want to keep 2 more of the NZW does longer instead of sending to camp. Getting all the does bred to prepare for meat pens for fair.
 
We have
2 bucks
2 pg does (due 2/28)
2 does with kits
2 jr does (10 weeks & 15 weeks)
4 buck growers (6 weeks)
6 doe growers (6 weeks)
12 kits (2 weeks old)
8 kits (2 weeks old)

Plus, we had some losses
1 buck went to pet home
1 buck culled for enteritis
1 kit froze on the wire
3 went to FC yesterday

So 38 right this moment. We have had up to 46. Now that we are getting large litters, that number keeps growing. Our numbers grew by 20 when our last does kindled! We just started in August with 2 pg does and then added additional breeding stock. Crazy how fast you run out of cage space!
 
I did the Fibonacci sequence with my students on raising rabbits. obviously Fibonacci never had rabbits, because they multiply a lot faster than he says in his example.

8 does (1 leaving soon, 2 are jrs) All HLs except 1 Netherland Dwarf
2 young jrs (both leaving soon)
2 babies
1 pet bunny

16 right now. Probably down to 10 soon.

2 Jr growout bucks
17 SatinX kits 8 weeks and under

3 litters expected in the next 7 days, 5 more litters expected by the end of 30 days
