It’s so odd. We have need 100s of black otters and never seen it light brown on the tips like this. Thinking it’s just the baby coat and will grow out normal.

One of my otter rex has light tipped fur. Has anyone seen this before?

Yes, she is only 8 weeks old. We only breed for meat so the coat quality isn’t a concern. It was a surprise however since I have never seen this in the hundreds of blue kits we have had born.

Just plain white base with blue tips. Belly is not lighter so not otter or agouti. I saw a posting on here of a snowball and it looked like this kit but I’ve never heard of that so I am not sure about that either.

Would this be considered snowballed? I thought she was a blue Rex that I have had many of until I noticed the white undercoating. The white in the picture is where I blew in her coat.

He appears to be a black otter but one ear is not beige inside and his belly almost looks harlequin pattern

Waiting for payday wouldn't bother me near as much as canceling over and over. That is bad character and the pet would most likley be neglected. I am sorry you are in this position but you will find loving homes for them

I have used the 1% injectable. It has had no negative effects on my pregnant or nursing does. Also, it is very safe and tolerable for rabbits. It is one of the most used medicines on my farm.

It would vary from doe to doe. One doe might dig like that and it would be a sign she is pregnant. The next doe it might not mean anything. The only way I feel 100% a doe is pregnant is to palpatate them.

No kitty litter, I use Timothy hay.

Here is an updated pic. Not the greatest pic but it is from the breeder. I won't have the bun for another 6 weeks. The breeder told me it was Lilac which I didn't think it was. I am hoping for sallander. I have a broken sallander but think this color would be much better in a solid.
