    Tri Color Mini Rex

Hi There are 4 color varieties of tri colors acceptable in mini Rex. You could breed him to a nice broken blue, easier to find than a really nice red. But unless they carry tri color in back of them you may not get tri colors the first try. You may have to take those babies back to sire. Hope...

    Buck Resting Period?

I would also pass on studding out a buck, too easy to pick up vent disease from other rabbits especially if you don't know where they have been.

    Starting My Mini Rex Herd

Hi Hard to really tell in pics but the first pic looks like a weaker shoulder, where that dip is at, not as much depth as I would like to see, (cant tell width from pic) maybe a little longer than I like too. 2nd set of pics: I like the first pic and 2nd pic, so if the 2nd pic is same buck it...

    Broken color on mini rex?

Karen, Not sure about LH but in mini Rex no butterfly is DQ, half butterfly is only a fault, so not sure you can show it with being DQ for no butterfly. You could take and ask a non busy judge to look at for you as far as type, etc, though. And she may still produce showable babies even though...

Red Mini Rex breeders where are you?!!

Hi We have a couple we are working with. I had looked at snm page and am not sure if they are doing them anymore. ?

    Broken color on mini rex?

Booted to booted, no. Brokens have basically the same or color on both sides of face, butterfly or can be spot on each side, ears covered down to the head, prefer no scattered whites up in them, both eyes colored all the way around, pattern on body just preferred to be well dispersed, (all over)...

Pictures of My Mini Rex ! What do you think of them?

Pretty otters, they are beautiful colors, I like phoebe the best, at least from the top photo, looks like she has good shoulders, little long ears maybe she grow into, hard to see all the side view pics of her, she would be my pick at that age I think, Blessings!! :)

Hi Let us know what you breed her too and how it goes, Best wishes! :)

    Broken color on mini rex?

Hi I would try her with a broken because then you would prob get brokens with better patterns. With a solid you may get more booted non showables. ( unless your solid maybe carries broken in lines)

    Brindled Rex Kit

Harlequin to any broken will give the possibility of a tri color depending on what the broken carries, or you can then keep one from that breeding to breed back to the Harlie and your chance of tri colors will go up since that one you kept could carry the right gene, you will never know unless...

    Brindled Rex Kit

Breed it to a broken and see that you get. Not a solid you May get more non showables. I believe you will need the broken to possibly / hopefully get that pattern but broken, and hopefully not torted. It's cute.

    Hollow question

Hi Thanks, it isn't pinched in the rear, a breeder contacted me regarding the issue and explained very well. Some have smaller loins and without it being deeper it ties in and shows the dents where it ties in to hips rather than a deeper wider loined rabbit. Thanks for the suggestions...

    another stupid question, lol

Wow, we just must have some good lines because we never have any issues with them. Lucky us :)

What can you tell me about show quality Angoras?

Hi Toenails should be all the same color, maybe look up the standard of perfection on these at the ARBA site, don't know if it's listed there, they should have good width and depth. I believe they should be 6.5 - 10 pounds (9.9)? If they are young ask to see / feel parents? What their weights...

    another stupid question, lol

Hi The one in the box standing uP look like the only Charlie there, the blue one and black one looks like it may have at least 10% color so it would just be a lightly patterned broken. We have charlies and never had have any terminally ill problems ever...or any problems of any kind with them...

    Hollow question

Yes sometimes it's easier to see pics, I try to ask judges when they aren't busy. When we have processed some I notice some have wider loins and others have a loin so small it isn't worth the trouble to get off! So this must be what it is, I know age sometimes does it, or coming off litters...
