I usually feed my rabbits once a day.

I only feed my rabbits and guinea pigs once a day, and they also get super excited and act ' starving' when I feed them each morning. It's just normal, they just get super excited! :) As long as their not loosing any weight or anything, they're not actually starving.

    BONDING HELP!

Just keep trying, as @michaelsforgardens said :D I'm sure they'll be the best of friends soon! Give the male a bit more time- bucks can be pretty stubborn! ( mine sure is!) One method that might help is to just keep them in separate pens/cages close to one another. They cant have any physical...

Best items for buns to gnaw on?

hey! My buns love to naw on sticks as well as pieces of cardboard. It helps keep their teeth short and healthy, and they don't even eat the cardboard. after chewing, they spit it out. Carrots are good treats to keep their teeth down as well. I would recommend untreated wood- so that they don't...

Do you wash your hands after handling rabbits?

I don't wash my hands after handling or feeding them, I only wash them after cleaning out their homes. The only other times I wash my hands after handling rabbits or guinea pigs is if one of them is on quarantine, and when Ive held someone else pet to prevent sharing germs. :bunnyhop:

    Identifying Pet Rabbit

Congrats on getting your first rabbit! I'm sure you'll enjoy him :) In my opinion he appears to be a Netherland dwarf or Netherland dwarf cross breed. He's very cute though, and quite the handsome lil' dude. what's his name?
