    PLEASE HELP

Could I put in hand warmers (in a sock) for him to be able to sit on? Or is it dangerous if my doe chews them? Any tips for keeping him warm all night long, or should I get up every couple hours to put fresh hot water in the water bottle? I read that a single kit can be over fed, which can be...

Breeding a broken to a broken?

Thank you everyone for the info :) Here is a picture of my broken doe and the young buck I am Thinikng of keeping. Both are a pretty orange color and have long fur. Do you think breeding them together (when he is old enough) will be a good idea? What type of health problems can Charlie's have?

Is it ok to breed a broken rabbit to another broken? If so will all the kits have broken patterns? Or what will their patterns look like? I was thinking about keeping my (now 7 week old) broken Lionhead buck and breeding him to my broken Lionhead doe when he is old enough. I can post...

    Baby bunnies have soft poo

Oh I did not know that about the mold. I have kept the bale in our garage (I keep the bunnies inside). They do seem to be eating it, just not a lot of it. Do you think I should get them new hay? I have had the bale in the garage for about a month and a half now. Is that to long to have kept it?

    Baby bunnies have soft poo

Thank you both. I will give them some oats and more hay. Now the hay I give them is just hay from a big hay bale (like the same for horses) should I be giving them a better brand of hay ment for just rabbits? Or is the hay bale hay ok for them?

Rabbit overdue? What to do now

Thank you every for the advice. I will give her some tums tonight and massage her belly. And I will let her with my buck for a few minutes. If no kits are born by morning, I will try the lavender. Do you think there is any chance of them being born alive?

Rabbit overdue? What to do now

I believe she got pregnant around May 10th (give or take a few days) but I am almost certain she has been pregnant by May 15th. I will try and give her a tum and I will look for lavender to give her. Is there any chance the kits may still be alive, and if they are, will the lavender kill them...
