    is it ok to use fur from one does nest in anothers nest?

    sumtimes i have i have a does that doesnt appear to pull enough fur for a good nest while the doe nearby has way more than enough.is ok to transfer the fur from one nest to another?is it ok to save some of the fur and nest material for future use?

    when should this doe be bred again?

    a nice doe i have lost her litter yesterday. she didnt build a good nest and birthed outside the nest box.due to the cold weather they died before i found them.she took excellent car of her last litter and id like to give her another chance. when should i look to rebreed her?

    what are these little guys?

    i got these 2 black buns from a friend of my girlfriend. i have no info about them such as age, breed, etc.im only familar with meat rabbits so far and have no idea what they are other than some type of lop i assume.im guessing them to weigh around 3 lbs. any ideas would be appreciated.

    why are my rabbits not getting the runs

    i have been feeding a mix of pellets, apple twigs, alfalfa hay,wheat grass and turnip greens. ive been watching them very carefully for loose stools.i would expect them to get loose with this diet. am i wrong?i feed a lot of succulents but they seem fine.i have a lot of wheat grass and turnip...

    hay feeding ricks

    when i built my cages i put hay ricks in them. but i built them out of 1"x1" mesh wire.i thought that would allow them to rustle the hay out but they dont seem to be able to get it out.do i need to cut some holes in the ricks to let them pull it out better?

    apple twigs?

    i have been feeding my rabbits some apple twigs, they really like them.i mean really.is this a good food for them? anybody else feed them?they eat the bark off them almost completely.i also feed them a quality pellet that they like and some alfalfa crabgrass hay.

    bermuda grass hay and turnips for bunnies

    has anybody used bermuda hay for their rabbits.i have a free source of high quality bermuda hay and i understand it is similar to alfalfa in protein.i also raise turnips and wonder if rabbits would enjoy them? both roots and tops? any advice would be appreciated!!
