no, the fellas gave it all they had, they were workin over time and gettin nowhere if ya know what i mean. the does just refused them. i couldnt even get a forced breeding in. this yr, ive startd with same line from my breeder mentor, but differnt individuals. and ive had better success.

i feed just enuff to give them a small meal over night. no waste to really speak of. and they dont get it everyday either. mainly as a treat. i want them eating pellets for maximum growth in less time....you have to experiment to see what your rabbits eat so you dont just throuw you money...

you have to wonder what the rabbit breeders fed their rabbits, 50-100 yrs ago long before pellets....and obviously they survived.

this yr was brutal for heat. i moved mine outa the rabbitry into pens back under the trees. in constant shade. it helped tremendously. my rabbitry is too hot. metal roof ya know. yesterday i was insulating the ceiling, getting ready to cover it up. hopefully it will help come next season...

as i mentioned earlier, i had the same problem with all my does, they refused to breed up after august last yr. i culled most all ofum and started over. nothing is more irritating than a fridgit doe.

yes maam....god bless the Lard. lol. i figured you had to use some type of fat. cause there is no fat at all on a meat rabbit fryer. and very little on a grown rabbit if fed correctly. i know when we make venison sausage we have to add pork fat, b/c of the lack of fat in a deer.

i tried to figure out how to put the TRR on the tatoos, but its to many spaces used. so all my tattoos start out with TR-09 as in Trinity Ridge, doe number 9.

TRINITY RIDGE RABBITRY i dont believe in the trinity doctrine, but i do happen to live on TRINITY ROAD. i live up on a small hill, hence "ridge" i used to run a dog kennel here, called TRINITY RIDGE KENNEL. the kennel is gone, i just carried it over to the rabbitry.
