    QUICK! Black angora scarf?

I blended wool from my black angora with black silk for a knitted scarf for my dad this Christmas. The blend resulted in a beautiful color mix. Something to think about for future yarn projects.

Our second litter due any day now!!!

She was bred on Nov 22nd so she is at day 29 or 30 depending on whether to count the breeding day or not. My own kids were hoping she would have them on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Maybe she heard them. I'm hopeful that when those babies are ready they will come.

    Fodder sprouting systems, anyone?

I've been growing fodder for over a year now and gave tried various way and locations. When I grew it outside, I had fruit fly problems. When I grow it indoors, I have molds issues or slow growth depending on where it is located while growing. Some bunnies love it, others tolerate it and then...

Ms Sport - babies on floor

We had five of six babies from a litter all managed to crawl out of the cage. Two of them did this twice and crawled several feet away before re were able to find them, return them to the best and plug the hole. Amazing.

French Angora Babies! Quite the adventure.

Baby saving wire? I will do that. I had no idea they could fall out that easily. After I posted my original post I went about our daily life and ended up finding yet another popple wiggling around on the floor next to a box. This makes six in this litter! I about lost it as this little one...

French Angora Babies! Quite the adventure.

Our 'unintentional' breeding did produce one litter, thus far, and from the experienced doe who I thought wasn't pregnant. I am such a newbie. Five kits were found this morning and all are now safely tucked away in the nesting box. Their morning certainly was an adventure. So this morning...
