I carded some tonight...with dog slicker brushes as it is all I can afford atm. it was amazing to see how much dirt came out... the small batch of it that I washed is still in the mesh bag drying in the laundry room. it is too cold and wet to try drying it outside.

I am a brand new to spinning! I am planning on using a homemade drop spindle to spin since I really don't have the money to buy one already made...let alone a spinning wheel... I have a small batch soaking now and am wondering should I card it normally before or after washing? there is a LOT...

I got it today!! I plan on just trying to spin it by itself first. I have basically been promised more if I can use it. :) I got about 5oz for free :) I honestly didn't expect that much! I'm not sure what I will make with it, probably a scarf. Geee! I'm so excited.. Edit: Oh! And it's a light...

My Mom has one that looks like this in her work, except it is chocolate in colour. She works at a day care and it is a teacher's pet. Just got a chance to see it last night...sooo cute, but HUGE!! And to think, we almost had one of it's kits...lol.

From what I understand,our domestic rabbits orginate from European wild rabbits, which do use burrows. I could be wrong, of course. :)

It's hard to guess the age of some of RT members. :) I know we have some young ones on here, so I thought it was best to mention about the ears in case Legacy Lane was younger. I honestly thought she might be 12...but than I saw that she has a husband and knew she wasn't 12..lol. :)
