Here are two babies from the same litter

I have 5 month old mini rex and they are littermates they both have very good type but I have noticed they have long guard hairs. I was just wondering if I should cull them or if they will loose these darn hairs? Or use them for brood?

Ok thanks this makes sense because I did notice the fur had been moved in the middle like she was uncovering them so she knows what she's doing :)

Do any breeders here remove hair from their nestboxes when it's very hot? I have a large litter of babies about 4 days old and it looks like the doe just keeps pulling fur because the nest is full! I was just wondering if it would get hot in there for the little ones...

My doe has a nestbox and she's due anytime however she is building her nest in the opposite corner of her cage and just started pulling fur. Should I move the nest she is building into the nestbox or leave it where she's building it? This is her first litter and she is in a solid bottom cage.
