New Rabbitry Set up...Need ideas and suggestions! :)

I think they sit at an angle that drains into a bucket. Monkey Business Rabbitry; I like it! Now I'm picturing a monkey wearing bunny ears

 I like the Hairy Potter name theme! I was initially going to get some Creme d'Argents, and had names picked out, like Ice Cream, Creme Fraiche, Whipt Cream...now I might be getting SF, so I'm thinking for the boys I might pick out band names; Led Zepplin, Styx, ACDC...

New Rabbitry Set up...Need ideas and suggestions! :)

Nothing to suggest, but I wanted to say that is an awesome little building! I think you'll end up with an awesome set up once you get it how you like! Oh, actually, I could suggest something. Some folks here use rain gutters to catch the pellets and pee from the slant boards; if you did that I...

    Buck not doing his job!

Would putting him in the does cage (alone) for a little bit maybe help?

Help with muddled thoughts - please!

I don't think you have anything to lose by breeding your doe; she might calm down some. On a penny budget, I'd encourage as much creative "re-purposing" as safely possible. Do you have the equivalent of Craigslist where you live?

Popples galore!!! (Random, but now I want to name all my future breeders after Bond girls  )

Help with muddled thoughts - please!

What sort of budget are you working with? What are your breeding goals? Has the skittish doe ever been bred?

    Do you ever...

try to encourage others to raise rabbits/chickens/goats/etc? Both mine and my husband's family are intrigued by our venture into meat rabbits, and my personal research into other livestock animals, gardening and holistic medicine. It's gone from polite interest to genuine curiosity, and even...

    Critique these buns please!!!

 The one thing I miss, being Paleo, is a flaky croissant glazed with honey butter. MMMMM.

Fun post, making my rabbit shed! ideas? *pictures*

Not to hijack, but I had a question about bunny pee. Will it kill the grass under the cages? Also, I want to see pictures of the new rabbit shed after you convert it, cowgirl! :)

rabbit first aid kit and supplies?

I stumbled across this, for more "natural" medicines. Also read a tip that says to give rabbits mint on hot days, as it cools them down. (Still learning, so I'm very interested, but taking with a grain of salt until I find additional sources to verify.)...

Yet another one of those slaughter methods questions...

All this talk about zombunnies, headless chicken horsesmen, and the turtle... :doc:

A meat rabbit that doesn't eat like a NZ?

I thought SF came in black, blue, chocolate and lilac?

    Let's talk Guns!

    Agreed!!!

    Let's talk Guns!

I don't really want to start the OC/CC debate, as I personally believe everyone should carry however they are most comfortable with, and to me, the most important thing is that they carry at all. Now, that said, the "you'll be targeted first" discussion point has been repeated countless times...

Lattice paneling would be my suggestion. Looks like it has a lot of potential.

    Not really interested in selling

Some folks might have "Little Red Hen" syndrome, and want the enjoyment and payoff they see you have. Others may just be looking for a little way to become more self reliant. Do what you are comfortable with :)

    speaking of guns

Fire-Man, I've had guns that hurt so much to shoot that I'd put them down once they were empty and not pick it back up again, but I've never had one pop back on me, and I'm not much bigger than your cousin's wife. I think it all boils down to proper grip and stance.
