One of 26 kits has this issue. About a week ago, I used warm water and cotton to open the eye, but it has not been a lasting improvement. In fact, the eye has gotten worse. I bought Terramycin, an anti-biotic ointment for eyes to try clearing it up. I will keep you posted.

One of our hens layed this mini egg and when I finally got around to cracking it open, it was empty...except it had an inside shell that was exactly half of the egg. The egg was about 1.1/8 inches wide and the inner shell (exactly half size) fit inside perfectly until it had dried, and I guess...

Maybe it bothers me more than it should...because I don't like waste, much less having to clean up the mess, but it seems that if I can feed hay in cut form, it would be much cleaner and much less wasteful. I already have their hay mangers located above their feeders, and therefore catch lots...
