Why do my kits keep dying?

I also hope you do not have a relapse, but I would still have a necropsy done. It will give you the ease of mind knowing what it was and how to prevent further problems with your babies.

Why do my kits keep dying?

I agree. Take a kit or 2 to a vet and they sent a dead 12 week old to the vet school in my state and did a necropsy. Well worth the money if you want to find out what it is and how to avoid more deaths. Good luck!

    Raise Meat Rabbits

Any input on a preventive? I don’t think an antibiotic is the long term solution. Or is there no solution? I have my rabbits in an old dairy barn and it’s not possible to sanitize everything.

The results are in from UW Madison from the necropsy. It’s coccidiosis😞 The vet has me giving corid for treatment and a preventive. I might try a feed additive as a preventive also. A friend of ours bought some rabbits at an auction a few years back and that is when we started having problems...
