Little guy's still got the silvery look as opposed to the rusty look his sable mother had. Ever look at a pelt through sunlight? The way the tips look dark and the base looks light... I swear sometimes he looks like someone stuck a lightbulb in him... :lol:

This goof is accustomed to being hauled inside to nurse babies…so of course, when I left her kits in her cage all night and all day and all evening, she didn’t feed them. :? So I think, “Okay, I’ll do the normal routine.” I gathered the kits from her cage, all the while trying to push Pyrite...

Either let it go and not waste the effort on it, or let half of the fattest kits skip a feeding by removing them to a temporary nest to give the straggler a chance at a teat.

I've caught my kits doing that several times. :lol: When I raised a litter inside last year, I'd even caught one hanging upside down from the cage ceiling! :shock:
