We just got a bunch of rabbits from a nearby friend and are expanding the rabbitry! Most of the newbies are Rex or a Harlequin/Rex cross. Some of them came with babies: Today I'm planning to get them all on record and sort them.

Where could I get the safeguard paste?

I feed pellets (Homestead brand) mixed with black oil sunflower seeds, whole oats, and corn, supplemented with dried & fresh grass clippings and occasionally comfrey leaves. The kits are around 3 weeks, almost 4.

It's dark brown, I have wire flooring so it mixes with everything below the cage bottom so I'm not sure. Her tail was dry but dirty when I checked. It's not a hot bulge, I felt it this morning to make sure. no hard lump, just soft & sagging. She drinks, and I'm not sure if she eats her pellet...

Pictures & weights. The doe's normal weight is around 8-9 lbs, the buck around 2-2 1/2 lbs. Gave them both plenty of hay this morning. Doe is very thin.

I have two sick/injured rabbits. One lionhead buck, and a harlequin doe (currently nursing a litter of 9, too young to wean). I think buck has head tilt/wry neck and I'm wondering if there's any way I can treat that relatively low cost, since I can't afford to bring either of them to a vet...

I bred my lionheads again this summer, and got another litter! These two babies are about 2-3 weeks old, and just opened their eyes. Still brainstorming names, so let me know if you have any good suggestions! (Not sure if they're male/female yet, so gender neutral would be good.)

Craigslist works well for posting your rabbits you'd like to sell. That's where most of our sales come from- online ads.

We use pairing knives, and we have a sharpener for when they get too dull.

I usually send some of their normal feed with them so they can wean the rabbit onto the new stuff without much issue. That may be helpful for you to do in the future, though I'm not sure if that's what caused the rabbit to get so sick.
