    Question on cages

You should put your location up. That way it might be easier to make suggestions. Check Facebook group Wisconsin Rabbit Breeders. There is a guy who builds some pretty nice cages on there.

    Turkey Prices

Just give them to your friend. Tell her to give you what ever she thinks the parts are worth. After all you say you normally compost them.

    Gravity feeders = wasted food

I use the feeders you are talking about. I dont have that issue. Maybe over feeding your rabbits? I have mine mounted up higher. Except in my grow out pen.

    Done with fleas!

Frontline Plus for puppy's works well around here. Works for dog up to 22 lbs. So should work for your older dog as well.

    Troubled times

WOW sorry to hear that. Hope he pulls through fine. We had a Golden Retriever Bass that did the same thing. We were lucky as they always passed through. I told the kids time and time again to put their dirty clothes in a hamper. They did not always do it. Anyway i was away at work for a few...

    How Young Is Too Young?

good things come to those who wait. You do yourself and your special rabbit no favors by breeding so early. Complications mount in breeding so young. There will be other conventions.

Dispatching Ideas for a Suburban Yuppie

The old wack on the back of the head should be followed by cutting the head off and letting it bleed out. In the suburban areas i recommend doing it all in the garage. Spread some plastic on floor and put a garbage can with plastic bag under the rabbit. Dexter like. Most everything will go into...

    Knives

I have my fathers knives from way back when. But a good alternative that works good are Rapala fillet knives. I have the 4" at $18.99 and the 9" not sure what the 9" costs.

I just shovel up some ground under my outside hutches and harvest all the red worms anyone could possibly ever need for fishing. But that is all i do with them.

    Breed suggestions

From a meat prospective it is awful hard to beat the NZ White. I have NZ Red. Had whites for years but wanted to change things up. Whites seem to fill out a bit quicker. 10 to 12 weeks for 5lbs live weight. My Reds take the same amount of time though. With the whites you can also dye the pelts.

My turkey just hatched 13 babies

Very cool. Many years ago when i lived at home. I had geese, chickens and pea cocks. My pea hens would sit a nest. But many times i found their eggs all around the hen house. So i would gather them up and put them under a goose. worked real well. Enjoy the chicks.

    Could some help

Looks fed to me. But as was said earlier a bit scrunched up. I would leave them alone for the rest of today and check in the morning to see if they are being fed. For the tiny one. Not all make it when everything is going right sometimes.

To wean or not to wean

I have six Red New Zealand kits that will be 5 weeks old on Saturday. Weaning day. They will be in the grow out cage. Which is 4'x4'x24". In another 5 weeks as long as they are 5lbs. It is off to freezer camp.

    Could some help

sounds like you have the makings of a good mother rabbit there. One thing i do before touching the kits. Is to run my hand over the mother. My dad taught me this many years ago and has served me well. If the kits belly's are round she is a feeding them.
