Our end of November score!

Only wire we can get here in that size is 14g, however the floor of the hutch has cross supports in it, so that should help some. I already ripped the old flooring off it, and it got too late for me to continue tonight, so I will finish it up tomorrow and have it in place for her to go to...

    ISO Silver Fox Michigan

If you can't find any over there, I know of 2 breeders here in Wisconsin.

    Are blue eyed whites special?

Side note, I have one chocolate with blue eyes. Only one out of the litter that has blue eyes.

    Flemish Giant Questions

I could not agree more. I have a buck who absolutely loves to be held now. I've worked with him for months, and he will sit in your arms and nuzzle into you and just loves it. I'm working to get all my rabbits like this.

    Hanging vs. Stacked Cages

I have one hay feeder on the door, on Alice's cage (the one on the right). That's because she likes to charge Fernie. All the rest have them inside on the left, partly doe to my OCD issues, and mostly since I attach their nest boxes on the right front of the cage, as you can see in Alice's cage.

    Pelleted Feed

We went and got from the local mill I was talking about, yesterday, and for 7 bags was $90. I spend over $100 at TSC, so as long as this feed works for us, we will stick with the mill. Now all I have to do is get them to open me up a charge account there lol...

I see all the really low temperatures....

We soooo need a like button for things like this. I say it all the time. I can make heat with wood from nature, can't make cool without electricity...

    Our end of November score!

That was my plan. I need a roll of floor wire anyways, so I will pick one up while out shopping. Have to drag the trailer around with me tomorrow anyways, as I scored 10 bales of hay for $60.

After a long, stressful moving day...

How bout I build an automatic bunny brushing tunnel? This way they could just go through and come out on the other side brushed?

What is the best option? To be spayed, or to be neutered!?

I would neuter the buck, but then again, I do the neutering myself, so there's no cost involved for me.

    first time owner

    1) I've given treats as young as 8-10 weeks, in small amounts of course. In wild, they would be eating what mom eats anyways, and by 8 weeks would be eating stuff in the wild anyways, so I figure it can't hurt them too much. One of the other things I have found that mine absolutely LOVE is...

    Our end of November score!

This is what we are picking up tomorrow for Anna, our FG doe: $50 is a good deal for it I think...

After a long, stressful moving day...

She apparently forgot about the new ATV a week after the trailer... And she was with me for that one! :rotfl:

__________ Thu Nov 28, 2013 12:14 pm __________

Oh, and we'll get some angoras when we add the next 12 cages. I swear!   Each row of 3...

    Wondering about Salt Spools

    Wondering about Salt Spools

I get the smaller mineral blocks from TSC, they're about the size of a index card and about 3-4" thick, weigh 4lbs each, for around $2 per block. Each one lasts at least 6 months per cage. My bunnies love them. And I;m pretty sure you can get them shipped in from TSC.

    Hanging vs. Stacked Cages

Here's the best side picture I can get. The chicken brooding pen is in the way of getting an actual good photo...

    Weaning Babies

I rebreed at around 6 weeks, then pull the previous litter out between week 7 and week 8.

    Pelleted Feed

We've been using TSC stuff, Producer's Pride I think, and I have to say I'm not impressed with it. The only plus to it is that as far as we can tell, it doesn't contain soy. We're switching to a "locally" milled feed (if you consider 30 miles each way to be local) to see how they do with that...

    Hanging vs. Stacked Cages

I will try to get a picture from the side tonight when I go out there. The back side looks exactly like the front side. Then there's a central gutter that each side's pan leads into, and a gutter for each level. The top gutter feeds into the bottom gutter, which feeds into a 5 gallon bucket, for...
