Rabbit liver and onions in a cast iron skillet

First time trying liver from our rabbits. We fried up two large onions and 2 tbsp of chopped garlic in butter in a cast iron skillet. Coated the liver pieces in flower and some Meat Church Holy Voodoo BBQ rub and fried for 2 minutes on each side. It turned out fantastic. I've only ever had beef...

Marketing rabbits - what we've been working on + any advice you may have.

Your website looks great. We have a website as well and use Kijiji to list an add for each litter as it comes. However, Kijiji may be Canadian only if I remember correctly. You can have a look at our website and maybe get some ideas but its not nearly as elaborate as yours. www.mfrabbits.ca All...

    Vacuum sealer = Game changer

Finally pulled the trigger on a vacuum sealer to seal our rabbits after processing. We just did a test run with it and it works amazing. Looking forward to process day next week to put this thing to the test. Also plan on using it on venison and fish.

Depends a lot on your setup really. If you are in barn nothing really changes other than the struggle of...

    Winter Wheat

Does anyone in the northern climates grow winter wheat in the winter months as a fresh food source? I was thinking about planting some as a cover crop in our raised beds this year. Apparently its great for soil health and an awesome food source for the rabbits. Thoughts?

    Record Keeping

We use Everbreed. It works but its has its issues. Customer service has been brutal to deal with. Takes them months to fix bugs in the system. Wish they would get it together as the software does have great potential.

    Help pricing rabbit manure?

Wow. I had no idea people were getting so much for the stuff. I may have to start bagging it and selling it as well.
