We sold all of the piglets but 4 of them(2 boys to eat and 2 gilts to breed). Darlins kits or getting so big! I rebred Darlin she is due on New Year's Day. Sold two 8-month-old Silver foxes bred.

Glitter had nine kits. One was found out of the nest box around two hours before she kindled the rest of her kits. She had seven blacks, one blue, and one chocolate.

Oh, how life is annoying sometimes! It's such a bummer when things happen like this.

I believe it's a disqualification if a Silver Fox has a Vienna mark. I have only seen a few Silver Foxes with Vienna marks. Though they look pretty cute (well doesn't any rabbit looks cute? lol).

ARBA only recognizes black and chocolate, I've been told they are in the prosses with blues. Though you can show all the colors (white, black, blue, and chocolate) at specialty shows (it might be called something else, but I know there is a special show where you can show all the colors lol).

Darlin had 7 kits! She had black's whites and a lilac. I need to sell the rest of glitters kits along with a couple others. The piglets are getting huge, we nicknamed one chunky and another fatty lol.

So basically, I have a white silver fox🤣lol. How/Where did you learn all of this, I want to learn more about color genes but don't know where to start. Thanks so much.

The first two images would be an ideal silvering. the third image has too much silvering, and the last image has too little silvering. As Alaska Satin said you want almost a salt-and-pepper look evenly distributed among the body. It gets easier to tell the more experience you have.

I wouldn't worry about them accidentally being bred this young, it's most likely a dominance thing. It's hard to be sure about the gender through pictures. I would watch a YouTube video or two, look at a few pictures, and then check their gender. I did this when I was learning, and it helped a lot.
