Edited to add: There will only be 4 kits available, one is being set aside for a friend.
Yesterday, Lola, my six-month-old bun from a litter of eight, had her first litter with the lop-eared lionhead, Whiskers.
About a month ago, we put Whiskers in with the girls because we thought they were...
About 2 weeks ago Cookie was put down after a seizure, but she had held on just long enough to wean her last litter of 5. This is honestly just a mourning post for her.
We got Cookie from an auction in Jacksonville IL this year, and she had two litters with us. Cookie's final kit was one she...
I have no idea because she never even had the kits live. The does are all kept in a small log cabin with an outside run, with plenty of room to move and hop around. None of the burrows the bunnies dig are big enough for Fredia and are always empty, so I know she didn't have them there. She...
I have a very pretty lop-eared lionhead buck(His name is Whiskers) who does not have a pedigree(I don't even know what a pedigree is) and is probably not purebred. Could he be a show rabbit? And if he could be a show rabbit, where would I show him?
I have a brown-eyed white doe (I think she is an NZW, but she is getting so large that I think she may be mixed with a Giant. I got her from Rural King so I don't really know.)
This is Fredia, she has lost her kits 3 different times, with 3 different bucks, all days before she was supposed to...
This is the mother of the kits. (She is no longer with us)
The father is brown-eyed white with grey ears.
The kits are all white with blue eyes, but some have spots of black on their faces. The kits are very friendly but are skittish until they are picked up.

The kits are about five weeks now and are eating solid foods and even treats, and the doe is running away from them so I may wean them now.
Thanks for this input on this subject!
I have a doe with five kits that are about five weeks old now (estimated).
The mother of the kits is a smaller rabbit with a leaner body, picture below, and the father of the kits is a chunkier white rabbit with a more compact body.
Can I wean the kits now? Or when can I wean them?
(Can post...
I have one hutch for my bucks and one pen for my does, but I need a grow-out pen for my meat rabbits.
Does anyone have any good ideas for building grow-out pens for meat rabbits?
I have two does pregnant right now, and they are due in about a week, I have never seen or been around a doe who has given birth so I don't know much.
One of them is nesting now, is this early but fine, or does this mean something is wrong?
